Goldman Sachs Global Co-Head of the Global Markets Division

Ashok Varadhan is Global Co-Head of the Global Markets Division of Goldman Sachs, a role he assumed in 2014. He is also a member of the Management Committee and Firmwide Risk Council. Ashok held various leadership positions in Rates, Currencies, Emerging Markets and Commodities before becoming Global Head of Macro Trading in 2012. He was named managing director in 2000 and partner in 2002. He was the benefactor of the renovation of both gymnasiums at Brooklyn Tech and renaming of the first-floor gym in honor Conrad McRae, his basketball teammate at Tech.
