Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation Earns 2025 Candid Gold Seal of Transparency
Gold Seal recognizes top nonprofits for their commitment to transparency and accountability
The Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation has been awarded Candid's 2025 Gold Seal of Transparency, placing it among the nation's most trusted nonprofit organizations. This prestigious designation underscores the Foundation's dedication to openness, accountability, and responsible stewardship of donor contributions.
In today's philanthropic landscape, transparency is paramount. Donors and supporters seek assurance that their contributions are managed with integrity and directed toward meaningful impact. Candid's Gold Seal recognizes nonprofit organizations that go above and beyond in sharing information about their finances, leadership, demographics, programs, and mission. Fewer than two percent of the 1.8 million nonprofits listed on Candid earn this distinction.
"We are incredibly proud to receive Candid's Gold Seal of Transparency," said Courtney J. Ulrich '90, Executive Director of the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation. "This recognition affirms our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial stewardship and operational clarity. We strive to ensure that every dollar entrusted to us is used to support Brooklyn Tech and its students, strengthening our mission to empower future generations of Technites."
Candid, formed in 2019 through the merger of GuideStar and the Foundation Center, is the world's leading source of nonprofit information. Its transparency rankings help donors and stakeholders make informed decisions, fostering trust and encouraging philanthropic engagement.
By achieving the Gold Seal, the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation reinforces its unwavering dedication to transparency, responsible governance, and impactful programming that benefits the entire Brooklyn Tech community.
"We remain committed to fostering a culture of transparency, innovation, and excellence," added Ulrich. "As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing our work in service of Brooklyn Tech, its students, and the incredible alumni network that makes our community so strong."
