BTHS Wins 4th Straight NYC Moot Court Championship
The Brooklyn Tech Moot Court Team successfully defended its status as the reigning NYC Champions in the 2023-2024 MENTOR Moot Court Competition, bringing its winning streak to four straight years, with Tech’s Petitioners defeating James Madison High School's very game Respondents. Thelma Rubin-Rottenberg ’26 and Fionna Shi, Law and Society '24, argued eloquently and vociferously as team Captain Vola Finn, Physics, '25, and fellow Respondent Melissa Lembrouk, Law and Society '24, watched confidently from Counsel's table, and scribbled many, many notes. The unstoppable team is coached by Mr. David Schepard of Tech’s Law and Society major.
