I commuted to Tech from Glendale, Queens by bus and/or subway, including the Myrtle Ave. El until 1969. It was a distance of about 5.5 miles, as the crow flies, but seemed much farther! An Architecture major, I have many good Tech memories, including favorite teachers that I kept in touch with, Howard Falick and Jules Peemoeller, now both deceased. I also made some good lifelong friends at Tech. My excellent Tech education also led to my 49-year career in civil engineering! I have lived in Tempe, Arizona since 1982.
