Frank A. Cipriani, Ph.D., ’51
President, SUNY Farmingdale
President of the State University of New York at Farmingdale for 20 years, Dr. Cipriani has earned a reputation as a leading advocate of international education and supporter of a strong humanities component in technical education curricula. A graduate of Queens College, he earned his Ph.D. at New York University and held the rank of Captain and rating of Navigator-Flight Instructor in the Air Force. He is former chairman of the Suffolk County Environmental Quality Council.
