Gregg Bishop ’93
Named a Trailblazer in Economic Development
City & State NY this month named Gregg Bishop ’93, Executive Director of the Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation Social Justice Fund, to its 2025 Trailblazers in Economic Development list. Bishop has held key leadership roles across New York’s public and civic sectors, including serving as Commissioner of the NYC Department of Small Business Services, where he oversaw $200 million in capital access for small businesses and expanded workforce training for 10,000 New Yorkers. He later led Coro New York before joining the Tsai Foundation, where he focuses on advancing economic mobility and equitable investment in communities of color. His work continues to shape economic opportunity across the city.
