John Catsimatidis is Chairman and CEO of the Red Apple Group, a company with investments and holdings in oil refining and bio fuels, petroleum products, convenience stores, real estate, aviation, supermarkets, medical and industrial technology. He is also the host of a nationally syndicated radio program. John transformed Gristedes into a staple of New York life. Today, Red Apple Group's largest holding is United Refining based in Warren Pennsylvania. John has a range of charitable interests which focus on education, health, children and the elderly, and law enforcement.
