L. Londell McMillan ‘83 Receives National Bar Association Icon Award
Londell McMillan ‘83 was honored with the National Bar Association’s 2023 Entertainment Attorney Icon Award at the opening reception of the NBA’s 98th Annual National Convention on Sun., July 30th at Paisley Park, Minnesota. Londell is a past Titan of Tech honoree.
His clients over the years have included Prince before his death and his estate after his death, Lil' Kim, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson before his death, Roberta Flack, Isaac Hayes, Spike Lee, LL Cool J, Nas, Kanye West, Zhane, Estate of Christopher Wallace, 1996 Olympic Women's Basketball Players Lisa Leslie and Dawn Staley, among other professional athletes and entertainers. Among his corporate clients have been The Discovery Channel, Time Warner, Screenvision, Radio One, National Football League, and Mercedes-Benz.
On hand to celebrate were Londell’s 40th anniversary Tech ‘83 classmates James Goodwille Pierre, class president and rep, and Denice Clarke (DC) Ware, president of the Alumni Foundation.
