Marvin Kitman ‘47
TV Critic and Author
An acclaimed humorist and television critic, Mr. Kitman was the author of eight books and his nationally syndicated column was a comprehensive chronicle of 30 years of television and culture. A City College of New York graduate, he was awarded the Society of the Silurians' Humorous Writing Award and Special Commentary Award. He hoped to be remembered as the author of Kitman’s Law: “On the TV screen, pure drivel tends to drive off ordinary drivel.”
